Awakening Into The Sacred

Yoga is an ancient method of self-healing and self-empowerment. Understanding both the dense physical body and the even more powerful subtle inner body enables us to practice yoga and pranayama as medicine.

Ayurveda also reveals to us an artful way to make wise choices in our lifestyle, daily routine, relationships with food and exercise, the whole of it, for the purposes of healing, vitality, and inner peace.

Retreats are a time to go deeper into your personal practice while supported by a senior teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience and with a community of dedicated practitioners. Immersing ourselves in the ancient traditions of yoga and Ayurveda, with dedicated practice time and a community of fellow seekers, allows the teachings to penetrate us even more deeply.

Many students experience states of well-being and insight that would be otherwise unavailable in the fray of daily life. Frequently, students report lasting transformation from the depth of these retreats.

(Re)Parenting Empowerment Masterclass

Interested in responding instead of reacting?

Wondering how your childhood affects your life now?

Needing a fresh look on connection with others, especially children or
grandchildren?

Participants will dive deep into the topic of reparenting ourselves so we can
interact with others, especially children, in informed and connective ways. We
look at why we react in the ways that we do in difficult situations and we
provide tools to identify those programmed reactions and patterns. When we
can understand the layers associated with our reactions, we can create space
to make different choices and to be intentional in the way we connect. The
information and tools in this masterclass offer a different perspective of
parenting and teaching children from the lens of awareness and human
development. This includes the reparenting we do with ourselves internally.

Yoni Remembering III: Awakening

Sister, are you looking for a nourishing and transformative way to tap into your empowered feminine flow while creating authentic connections with other women in 2024? If you have been hearing the call, you don’t want to miss this retreat. Come spend three days/two nights at Breitenbush Hot Springs with us, as we join together in sisterhood to play and practice connecting into and building our yoni’s unique voice, guidance and boundaries.

Through ceremony with specially curated herbal tinctures, guided meditation, restorative yoga, embodied movement, specific practices, journaling and solo time for reflecting; we will slowly build to a powerful final ceremony where we will practice Giving & Receiving: Surrendering to the Beloved. We will then move deeper into healing and release by doing a group yoni steam, followed by a restorative evening soak under the magic of the full moon.

You will awaken on the final morning clarified and renewed, with a stronger connection to your authentic feminine voice and expression. We will empower ourselves through making our own medicine from herbs gathered from our surroundings and a guided forest walk where we will access the orgasmic potential within and around us, when we are open to our interconnectedness with nature and our wild self. Join us for the completion of the Yoni Remembering series, as we come together for this transformative retreat.

Rest & Digest

Ayurveda teaches us that what is within is without, and what is without is within. Simply put, what we cultivate within our own internal landscapes is ultimately what we express into our external landscapes, and vice versa. The natural world (that is to say the entire world) teaches us that all ecosystems, from the micro to the macro, require balance to thrive. Yet daily, we face the challenging task of navigating a world that is increasingly out of balance and this is leaving many of us with a chronic sense of fatigue, overwhelm, and fragmentation, making it hard to cultivate the energy required to show up for ourselves, for our loved ones, and for our communities.

Join Heather Smith and Danielle Clothier at Breitenbush Hot Springs this June, and proactively engage in the utilization of tools that can support you in your journey back to balance and homeostasis.

Facing Death, Nourishing Life, Living the Beauty Way

The atmosphere, the pools, the beauty and spaciousness of Breitenbush  provide an ideal setting and opportunity to dive deep into touching what is  most important. Often we are so busy doing all the important stuff of life that we don’t seem to get to the really important stuff.

Deepening our awareness of our approaching death and the death of our loved ones helps bring us out of the ‘cultural hypnotic sleepwalk’ we can easily fall  into. Learning what ‘dying well’ asks of us points to what we can do now in our  lives to live more fully and to live in the beauty way. It points us to how we can be useful in the care of a dying loved one.

These times are asking us to be deep people and to increase our capacity to  meet what is happening in the world. Touching love and death, grief and  gratitude, are the pathways forward.

Through teachings, group practices and discussions, break-out sessions,  movement, dance and song, writing and art and silent reflective time, we are  aided in stepping into the preciousness and sacredness of life, deepening our relationships with self, community and ‘the holy’.

Mindfulness Meditation

You can successfully meditate. People “fail” at meditation mostly because of some simple misunderstandings.  Love, mindfulness, and self-compassion are yours to bring into being. Come experience healing insights and shed the limiting beliefs and trauma that keep you from waking up and living fully.

A meditation retreat with Robert can be a transformative experience that positively impacts the rest of your life. Robert creates an environment in which people feel safe, validated, and supported. After just a day or two, people experience love, compassion, and safety that allows both beginners and advanced meditators to access deeper dimensions of themselves than ever before. Come explore what mindfulness can reveal – through focused practice with a skillful teacher, in the context of a caring community.

There will be Dharma instruction, guided meditations, and individual meetings. In addition to sitting, walking, and movement meditations, you will be invited to use every moment of your days to cultivate a loving, compassionate and mindful presence. The retreat will occur in noble silence.

You can find testimonials and more details about Robert’s retreats at robertbeatty.com/retreats.

Following ancient Buddhist tradition there is no charge for the teachings on the retreat. At the end you will have an opportunity to offer Dana to support the teaching.

Loss, Trust & Change—A Grief Retreat

Nature knows how to process loss, there’s nothing new to invent. Many of us live outside naturally directed cycles. Long work weeks, industrialized food and computer moderated communities can make it hard to remember we’re part of nature.

This shows up brightly in the ways we’ve come to manage grief. We struggle to trust in systems we haven’t designed and cannot control. It makes it easy to feel lonely and afraid a lot of the time.

In our experience we’ve found, with help, support and encouragement, we can make our way back to being held and guided by this big, trustworthy thing we never left and that will never leave us. It isn’t easy, but it’s simple and quite possible. We feel lucky to get the chance to try with all of you.

We’re excited to gather in the complex wellness of the woods and water at Breitenbush, in the presence of our individual and communal grief, to practice moving with, learning from and trusting the system we belong to.
