Personal retreats are your opportunity to deepen the Breitenbush experience at your own pace with overnight stays.

Special weekends, like Quiet Weekends and Women’s Only Weekends can be booked through our events page

Please reserve early, we often book out a month in advance.


KEEP IN MIND, AT BREITENBUSH:

  • Clothing is optional in soaking areas; you may soak nude or in a swimsuit

  • We offer a digital detox; no cell service or internet access

  • We share a substance-free environment; no alcohol, drugs or intoxicants

  • To protect the wildlife; we ask that you leave pets at home

  • Off-the-grid utilities; limited electricity means no hair dryers or electric kettles.

  • No open flames, including no camp stoves.

  • We share a fragrance-free environment; no perfumes, scented lotions, shampoos, soaps, etc.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Pillows & bedding

  • Towels

  • Biodegradable and unscented toiletries

  • Flashlight

  • Yoga Mat

  • Non-glass water bottle (not bottled water)

  • Traction devices for your vehicle (Nov 1 - Apr 1)

Pricing Overview

Our prices are per person and inclusive; they include your accommodation, full access to our amenities and delicious vegetarian meals. Meals begin with dinner on the evening you arrive, three meals a day, then breakfast and lunch on your day of departure. Arrival is 3pm on your arrival day, departure is moving out of your room by 1pm on your departure day, and departing land by 3pm.

You may see prices fluctuate based on peak season vs non-peak season.

 
 
 

Lodging Options

 

The Grove

The Grove is made up of gorgeous rooms, heated by adjustable geothermal heat, and looking out towards the mountains. These spaces have three configurations: one queen bed, one full + one twin bed, or one full + one twin bunk. Grove rooms have outlets with a small amount of power. Beds come with a fitted sheet, you will need to bring your own bedding. Each building is named after a native tree to honor the trees lost in the 2020 wildfire.

Milky Way

Milky Way rooms are eclectic, cozy spaces in a renovated dairy truck. Each room has a twin or twin bunk bed. There is a porch entrance that overlooks the river. Beds come with a fitted sheet, you will need to bring your own bedding. Rooms are heated.

Forest Shelter

The Forest Shelter is a beautiful building made of wood and stone nestled into the forest by the river. This space includes two queen beds, adjustable geothermal heat, and a large window that over looks the river and wilderness.

Sundial Yurt

The Sundial Yurt is a twenty foot yurt heated by geo thermal heat and tucked in the trees. This space includes two queen beds.

Mushroom Yurts

We have five Mushroom Yurts - gorgeous, twenty foot cloth yurts - heated by geothermal heat, and placed next to the river. This space includes two queen beds. Each yurt is named after native, forageable species of mushroom.

Bell Hotel

The Bell Hotel room offers one queen bed, geothermal radiators, in close proximity to the Lodge and hot springs.

Lodge Rooms

We have two Lodge Rooms, that include one full size bed, night stand and radiator. These cozy rooms are located on the west wing of our Lodge, which makes them conveniently located next to a restroom and accessible. The Lodge is a high traffic area which can be noisy at times, quiet hours begin at 10pm.

River Yurt

The River Yurt has three queen beds, adjustable geothermal heat, and an ensuite bathroom with shower. This space is great for large groups or families.

Summer Season Lodging

The Aviary

These spaces are NOT HEATED but do have electricity; our hydroelectricity does not allow for heaters or any high voltage electronics. The Aviary offers canvas tent-cabins named after birds from the Pacific Northwest. Each tent-cabin has one full-size bed, nightstand, cafe table and chairs, plus a covered porch (bring your own camp chair to sit on the deck). Up to two twin camping mats can be added to the room upon request.

Personal Vehicle Site

Personal Vehicle sites accommodate a truck with camper or a camper van of up to 21 feet in total length for in-vehicle sleeping. These sites are not meant for tow-behind trailers. There are no hookups and no running of generators is allowed.

BYOTent Site

Situated in the woods along the edge of Strawberry Meadow, each Bring Your Own Tent site will accommodate one large tent or two smaller 2-person tents. These sites do not have fire pits, and fires are not allowed.

Platform Tent

Enjoy the ease of our Platforms Tents. Ten by ten foot tents already set up for you on a wooden platform, surrounded by part of the forest that remains green after recent wildfires. Each tent comes with two twin-sized foam camp mattresses, with room for up to two more by request. Tents are unheated. Bring your own bedding.

 
 

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling Overnight Reservations

  • We can reschedule your stay once at no charge, if it is more than 72 hours before noon of your arrival date.

  • Rescheduling more than once, or between 72-24 hours before noon of your arrival date, will incur a $50 service fee.

  • We are not able to reschedule reservations less than 24 hours before noon of your arrival date.

Canceling Overnight Reservations:

  • If you cancel your reservation more than 72 hours before noon of your arrival date, there is a standard $50 service fee. The remainder of the payment will be refunded to you.

  • If you cancel your reservation between 72-24 hours before noon of your arrival date, there is a standard $50 service fee. The remainder of the payment will be placed on a credit voucher, valid for one year.

  • If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before noon of your arrival date, no refund will be provided.

Day Use Policy:

  • Day use is non-refundable and non-transferable to a different day.
