  3. Where you are planning to stay (Alumni campground, guest accommodations at alumni rate, day use only, etc.)

The office will confirm your dates and work with you to book accommodations (if applicable).  To avoid showing up during closed/reserved camps, please refrain from visiting until your dates are confirmed. Thank you!

Please arrange the date(s) of your visit with the office by calling or emailing in advance. Please do not show up unannounced.

The Community Village, including but not limited to Staff Tubs, Dear Meadow, Garden Kitchen, Pod Kitchen, Schoolhouse, and Kinderyurt, are for use by current staff only. Alumni may use these spaces only when hosted and accompanied by a current staff member. See Alumni Staff Guests (below).

Reserving Guest Accommodations

When Breitenbush is open, Alumni may reserve guest accommodations at the Alumni/Staff Guest rate when booked no more than three (3) days in advance, subject to availability and other conditions (see Day Use, above).  Reservations made more than 3 days in advance are priced at the standard guest rate. Alumni are not required to obtain a current staff sponsor to book guest accommodations.

The Alumni/Staff Guest rate does not include meals or other services; only lodging and access to the springs. Call or email the office to make arrangements and to inquire about current pricing and availability. The maximum stay is two (2) weeks.

Alumni staying in guest accommodations may elect to purchase meals and other services. Inquire at the Store or Concierge. Alumni staying in guest accommodations may use the community kitchens and other community spaces only when hosted and accompanied by a current staff member. See Alumni Staff Guests (below).

Alumni as Staff Guests

Alumni may also visit Breitenbush as a staff guest when hosted by a current staff member. When visiting as a staff guest, alumni are subject to all staff guest agreements, with the following exception: In addition to staying in their host’s cabin or yard, alumni may also camp in the Alumni Campground.

The current staff member host is responsible for their guests while on land, including informing their guests of any current agreements (e.g. areas that are off-limits) and accompanying their guests while using community spaces (e.g. staff tubs, kitchens, etc.).

Please see Handbook of Agreements relating to Staff Guests for details.
