The purpose of practicing Breema is to bring you to the present and support you to remain present. Breema’s Nine Principles of Harmony are the key to the system’s many benefits.

The principles can be used in any situation in life to deepen self-understanding: Body Comfortable, No Judgment, Single Moment/Single Activity, No Force, Mutual Support, No Extra, Firmness and Gentle- ness, No Hurry/ No Pause and Full Participation.

In a joyful, nonjudgmental atmosphere we will explore the Nine Principles of Harmony and practice Breema’s rhythmic movement sequences. The flowing movements and postures of Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises are comfortable and natural. They nourish and energize body, mind and feelings and lead to a new experience of ourselves. All levels of experience welcome; participants should be comfortable sitting and working on a padded floor. LMTs and DCs earn 15 CEUs.

Taught by Northwest Breema Instructors, certified by the Breema Center in Oakland.

An easy, effective way to begin, or support, a successful meditation practice! Many people have told us that they CAN’T meditate! They’ve said that their mind is TOO ACTIVE; or that their body simply can’t SIT STILL; Or that they’ve tried guided meditations, and the only thing that happens is THEY FALL ASLEEP! Does any of this sound familiar?

If so – and you really WANT to learn how to successfully meditate – then this “YES, You CAN Meditate!” workshop is just what you’re looking for. In it, you will UNDERSTAND AND EXPERIENCE the relaxing, aware state of meditation, that will give you distance from the mind, and the experience of silence and stillness that is found in a place BEYOND the mind!

And all you have to do is…show up! Come let us help you on your way to an enjoyable, successful meditation practice!

Facilitated by Shanti Schenker-Skye and Subhan Schenker, Certified Meditation Facilitators for over 30 years! Co-directors of The World of Meditation Center in Seattle, WA (founded 1979).

Celebrate the power
of your true, authentic voice. Conquer fear and shame, eliminate “wrong notes” and uncover the undeniable beauty of your soul. Whether you already sing, want to learn to carry a tune, or speak out more authentically, this workshop
will change your life. You’ll break through blocks and free up an empowering sound. The results are remarkable, even if you have limiting beliefs about your voice.

Offered are basic techniques for breathing, tone, range, hitting notes, projection and overcoming stage-fright. Then voices ring out, favorite songs become transformational wellsprings, and inner and outer voice align. Multidisciplinary experts have called the results “profound” and “astounding.” Whether you are an absolute beginner, someone who already sings, or just someone who wants to speak up more easily, you’ll find yourself expressing beautiful messages from your heart. This workshop is a Breitenbush favorite and consistently gets incredible reviews.

This three-night weekend retreat for women is held primarily in silence, with guided and silent meditations, gentle yoga sessions, dharma talks and opportunities for group sharing. The relaxed meditation schedule includes silent bathing hours and personal time, inviting each woman to recognize and rest in her innate sacredness. This retreat welcomes beginning as well as experienced meditators and will be limited to 50 women.

As always, this retreat is offered in the ancient tradition of dana (generosity): the teacher offers the teachings as her practice of dana. Participants have an opportunity to practice dana with a contribution of financial support for her ongoing work.

Paige Cogger brings over twenty years of experience to the teachings, with deep roots in the Insight Meditation tradition. She will support you on your path to peace and well-being. Paige acknowledges and honors the many teachers whom have offered her wisdom and support. When the heart is open anything is possible. But what is it that keeps our heart from being fully open? This course will teach you tools to identify and remove trapped emotions that prevent you from living in joy.

Learning the skill of muscle testing is the first step. We will be introduced to many ways we can ask our body questions and get answers. You will find the way that works best for you personally and become proficient using it.

We will check our energy fields for trapped emotions. Trapped emotions keep us stuck and can prevent us from moving ahead fully in life. They can also prevent us from pursuing the careers we really want and may even cause illness.

We will then release the trapped emotions around the heart. These trapped emotions in the heart area are what keeps from living in joy, seeing the beauty and goodness around us and having positive and happy relationships.

Alea Kent MS is a recovering therapist, now using The Emotion Code and The Body Code in lieu of traditional therapy. She is certified in both.

This is an opportunity for the expanding contact community to dance together, gathering for fun and creative connection. Open to all levels, no previous experience is necessary. All we know is dancing.
