The Breitenbush experience is wonderful and unique. If you are new to Breitenbush there are a few important things you should know.
Reservations are required for all visits including day visits. We have limited capacity and fill quickly.
Clothing Optional Soaking
The hot spring pools and steam sauna are clothing optional. The clothing optional policy does not extend beyond the pools. We promote an atmosphere of sanctuary and respect, so please go in whichever way you feel most comfortable.
Organic Vegetarian Food
We serve only organic vegetarian meals in our dining facilities and request that meat not be eaten in the dining facilities.
Alcohol and Drugs/Intoxicants
Alcohol and recreational drugs (including marijuana) are not permitted. There is an outdoor covered area where tobacco smoking is permitted.
Pets Are Not Permitted
No Cell Phones or Internet
Cell phone signals do not reach us and we do not provide internet or phone access, except in cases of emergency.
Many on-line maps and GPS systems provide incorrect directions. To reach us, please use the driving directions provided on this page or in your confirmation email.
Do not bring devices that consume high amounts of electricity, such electric teapots, hair dryers or hot plates. We generate our own electricity from the Breitenbush River and have limited capacity.
We do not serve caffeinated beverages. We provide hot water and filters for you use if you bring your own coffee or tea.
All beds come with a fitted bottom sheet only. We rent sheets, blankets and towels, or you can bring your own.
We offer 10% discounts for seniors (65+), workers of approved member-owned co-ops and for stays of seven or more days.
